

Once you do that you will probably get a bunch of instruments in the bottom of Tux Guitar. What you need to do is open Tux Guitar, press File > Import > Import Midi.

There are 3 guitars in this song sheet, under the Play/Pause button click on that guitar icon and you will be able to choose them. You can learn a lot by looking and listening to these.

However, you can't just copy paste it, you gotta write it in Guitar Tux by yourself. That way you can copy what you see fit, how you see fit. I stick with Ultimate Guitar site results and Songster, both are helpful, they show you exactly what you are making in Guitar Tux, the sheet. Google " (Artist) (song) guitar tab " and most of the time you will find results that can help you out. Once you do that just open it in Lutebot.įor creating your own music you can use existing music. Once you are done with your song or want to test it, go to File > Export > Export Midi

Mordhau's lute has between 20 and 30 sounds for the lute, I forgot the exact number, that means that you can't get 100% accuracy on the notes depending on which notes you make in Guitar Tux. Also keep in mind that since a guitar has 29 frets (different sounds) + 1 sound which is written as 0 in Guitar Tux for 6 strings that makes the total number of notes for a guitar to be 180. There's guides out there that will help you work Tux Guitar like a champ too, make sure you use the Measure Copy Paste should you need them, that copies selected measures (the notes between 2 lines) and pastes them wherever you want it, how many times you want it. Lutebot + 30 unstable FPS struggles with those parts. I made it to test out how it would work in game and it seems to work well, minus the crazy parts, you'll know them when you hear them if you open it in Tux Guitar and press the play button. There's a lot of Midi sources out there, most found by googling a song and artist name, it would be pointless to add sources here, besides there is a big collection of Midis on some russian site that works well on the Lutebot Megathread and also a generous guy posted his own collection there in the comments.
